Honor Energy Mini Rail System: Project Completed in Japan

Recently, Honor Energy’s Mini Rail lightweight photovoltaic roof mounting system has completed all installation and commissioning work for a commercial and industrial photovoltaic project in Japan and been officially delivered for operation.

The Mini Rail system adopted in this project is a standardized product customized by Honor Energy according to the climatic and architectural characteristics of the Japanese market. Being on the circum-Pacific seismic belt, Japan gets hit by extreme weather like typhoons and heavy snow a lot.Moreover, the high-humidity and salt-laden mist in coastal areas can easily cause corrosion of metal components, imposing extremely high requirements on the stability and weather resistance of photovoltaic mounting systems.

To fit these real-world uses, the Mini Rail system is built with tough, high-strength aluminum alloy and uses special drill-free locking clamps. It attaches firmly to roofs without drilling holes—so there’s no risk of water leaking through the roof, and it can stand up to the strong winds from typhoons too.

What’s more, the system is coated with an anti-rust layer that keeps salt spray from corroding the metal parts. This means it works smoothly for years on end, even when temperatures swing wildly.

Upon completion of the project, a local third-party testing organization conducted a comprehensive inspection on multiple indicators of the system, including wind resistance, load-bearing capacity and insulation safety. Eventually, all test data met the local application standards in Japan, and the project successfully passed the acceptance check. The project partner commented that Honor Energy’s Mini Rail system not only facilitates easy installation and shortens the construction period, but also its stable performance fully complies with the stringent requirements of the Japanese market.
