Solar Connecting Plate

The part called a Solar Connecting Plate is basically a strong, flat piece of metal, shaped like a thick rectangle. It's built tough from high-strength steel that's coated to prevent rust. Lots of bolt holes drilled into it in a very specific, planned-out pattern.Its main job is to be a super solid link. It acts like a heavy-duty connector that bolts together and locks two major parts of the support structure: the horizontal beams that hold the solar panels up and the vertical posts that are anchored in the ground. By joining these parts tightly, it makes sure that all the weight and force from the panels and wind gets safely transferred down through the entire structure and into the ground.

Connection method

Connecting solar plate is commonly found in single-column ground support systems or ground support systems requiring additional diagonal bracing. This is because it effectively transfers all forces to the main column, thereby reinforcing the length of the main longitudinal beam and securing it in place. It must have a minimum of four holes: the outer holes for connecting the diagonal bracing, and the two central holes for connecting the main column.
