Its typical form is a sturdy right-angled L-shape, precision-rolled or cold-formed from high-quality steel. The cross-section design strikes a balance between mechanical load-bearing capacity and material efficiency. This unique right-angle structure provides dual-direction bending rigidity. One end is securely locked onto the main crossbeam via pre-drilled holes, while the other end stably supports the longitudinal rail that bears the photovoltaic modules.

Installation and Usage

Solar Steel Rail Clamp’s installation position is typically between the pre-installed bracket's longitudinal beam and the rail, meaning it serves to secure the rail to the longitudinal beam. Therefore, each pre-installed bracket must have at least two of these components, with the exact number depending on the number of rails on the individual pre-installed bracket. When the panel is mounted vertically, four are typically used; when mounted horizontally, four or five are typically used.

The installation process of Solar Steel racking Clamp is straightforward. All required components include the bracket itself and two M10*30 bolts. The only tool needed is a screwdriver. To install, first position the bracket on the longitudinal beam and place the bolts, but do not tighten them yet. Next, place the rail alongside the bracket and align it with the holes. Note: At least two brackets must be in place before installing the rail. Finally, tighten the bolts to complete the installation.

Note:

Although the installation process of Steel Solar racking Clamp is straightforward, one section requires particular attention: the installation of the first and last arrays. When installing these two arrays, they are typically mounted at the rail connection points. This means they must be installed together with the rail connectors, necessitating the addition of an extra shim for securing them and the use of longer bolts.
